And we’re back, kicking off another exhilarating race at the start of the 2013 Formula 1 season, this weekend at the 2013 F1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix. Considered as one of the toughest back to back races logistically, the Sepang International track offers up a combination of sharp turns and winds to accompany the searing heat and fierce humidity of the Malaysian climate. Drivers are reported to lose up to three (3) kilogrammes of body weight in sweat, during the Sepang race. Now that’s what we call hard work!
The Marussia F1 Team are looking forward to getting their new MR02 racing car out for a spin on the heated Sepang track. Rookies Max and Jules are also eager to drive their debut Malaysian GP’s and face the challenges of a more tranquil, yet aggressive circuit.
Following Formula 1 racing legends such as recently retired Michael Schumacher who has won three Malaysian GP races, and Ferrari’s power over the Sepang track with their six wins and further six podiums, all teams and drivers will be out to prove their best, making this weekend a nail-biter of a race.
This weekend is going to be a ball! Aside of the usual race activities we also have our two 2012 QNET FanHQ Competition winners, Yaseen Bitar and Naguib Rizk joining the Marussia F1 team trackside to watch the race!
