QNET Philippines was the major sponsor of the 2nd Secretary of National Defense (SND) Cup Open Golf Tournament held at the Veterans Golf Club (VGC) in Quezon City, Philippines on 7 September 2013.
A display booth was allotted to QNET for the entire day, and present during the event were QNET Philippines Chairman, General Dioscoro Yoro, Jr; NSG Assistant Manager Salene Kwan; and Admin staff Isidro Amuan and Helario Villarosa. QNET gave away five bottles of Vital Code Optima as raffle prizes during the awarding ceremony.
The tournament was organised to honour the Secretary of National Defense and raise funds for the retirement benefit of the Veterans Golf Club employees. A portion of the proceeds were also given to aid the medical needs of veteran patients at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
