Jules, Max and every driver in the competition have new self-chosen driver numbers this season. Each driver was invited by the FIA to state his preferred race number to use for the remainder of his F1 career under revised regulations for the new season.
MARRUSIA’S DRIVERS
Jules Bianchi, Race Driver #17
Bianchi’s original choices were 7, 27 and 77, but all were taken. Instead, Jules has opted for 17.
Max Chilton, Race Driver #4
Max has opted to use a number which works as a substitute letter. So, on Twitter at least, Chilton is no longer MAX, but M4X.
Get all your presentations out of the way and settle in for a weekend of racing!
